PT Len Industri (Persero) was established since 1965. LEN then transformed into a State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) in 1991. Since that time, Len was no longer an extension of the National Electronics Institute, but has become a professional business entity under the name of Len Industries. Len is currently under the coordination of the Ministry of State Enterprises.

During this time, Len has developed business and products in electronics for industry and infrastructure, and have demonstrated experience in the field:

• Broadcasting, for more than 30 years, with hundreds of TV and Radio Transmitters that have been installed in various areas in Indonesia.
• Telecommunications infrastructure network that has been stretched in both large cities and remote areas.
• Railway signaling system in various railway lines in Java.
• Electronics for defense, whether by land, sea, or air.
• Power Electronics Systems for electric trains.
• Thousands of Solar Power Generation System, which has been used by people in various parts of Indonesia and even overseas.

• Grade Point Average (GPA):
  
  • Engineering: 2.65 (PTN) and 2.80 (PTS)
  • Non-Engineering: 2.75 (PTN) and 3.00 (PTS)
• Age ≤ 30 years old as of December 31, 2011
